Manifestation & Motivating Desires

Clarity of intention, imagined down to the smallest details, along with letting oneself fully feel what it might be like to achieve the goal, are essential components of successfully manifesting a dream.

If you really want something to happen, try to mentally flesh out every possible detail of what that could feel, look, sound, smell and/or taste like. This is how we make things happen in the physical dimension of human existence.

Also, on a practical level, imagining it in minute detail prepares you to realize--and take--the next action necessary to progress towards this goal. It's like rehearsing for a musical/theatrical performance, or engaging in a scrimmage before a sports game. We already consider these practices necessary and beneficial to achieve the best possible outcomes in our endeavors. Therefore, it isn't much of a leap to imagine the same concept of practice being useful for what we'd like to take shape in the future, even if it hasn't yet been physically initiated, or shared with others.

If it turns out that, after several attempts, you can’t imagine even a few small details to accompany a goal, perhaps your soul may not truly need to experience it.

There may be something important blocking you from achieving that particular dream, or your desire for it could be coming from a place of muddied, low, energy. For example, the desire to achieve could be motivated by fear, anger, power over others, one dimensional lust, greed, etc.

If this is the case, once you recognize that motivation, there is no need for shame. Having this knowledge is helpful, because if you release the ill-fitting goal, it frees you to go in a new direction.
