Forging a New Reality
There are two types of forces affecting humanity today: the evolutionary and the counter-evolutionary.
The evolutionarily-oriented want us to collectively reach humanity's highest potential, and they act accordingly.
This encompasses promoting: unity and peace; art and creativity; love, sharing, and charity; equity, health, and healing; understanding and connection, independent, critical thought; compassionate action; choice; stewardship of the earth and its creatures, and more.
Evolutionarily-oriented messages and actions are generally of a high vibration, meaning that they facilitate an opening of hearts and minds. This creates a mindset of collaborating without controlling.
On the other hand, there are the counter-evolutionaries. (You could even misread this as "counter-revolutionaries," which in many ways also wouldn't be so far from the truth.)
A counter-evolutionary agenda is one that wants to ensure we don't grow spiritually or mentally. It wants us to remain within the narrow boundaries of traditionally prescriptive mindsets about topics such as: Religion, politics, aging, health, national identity, race, gender, commerce, sexuality, etc.
Ways in which counter-evolutionaries promote/enforce their agenda is by creating negative propaganda: anything that drums up fear or anger.
When they're successful, we tend to feel distracted, exhausted and/or helpless--which make us easily controlled. For example, constantly reinforcing our identities as consumers and wage workers is one effective way of doing this: We spend money on products, to alleviate problems that we think we can't solve ourselves--problems which are actually invented via advertising narratives, designed to instill insecurity in us. There are so many of these "problems" that we end up working endlessly to buy the things touted as solutions. The sense of dissatisfaction they create is perpetual, and therefore we never stop working or spending. The exhaustion this creates renders us unable to focus on the issue at hand: Counter-evolutionary systems themselves.
The counter-evolutionary beings prey on our learned obsession with being comfortable and approved of by others. They also cultivate nebulous fears of the unknown.
Such unlocalized, pervasive concerns compel us to remain in a very real sort of captivity—one that is mental, spiritual, financial, and in some ways, even physical.
We continue existing within constructs that we often dislike--and often disagree with--because we've operated within them for so long that we become blind to the existence of alternatives.
The media (and sometimes even our social circles) often reinforce this societally-induced captivity, in an insidious, subconscious cycle.
Some counter-evolutionaries in control have convinced us that our (relatively) comfortable abundance is dependent upon withholding things from others. They've tricked us into believing the story that there simply isn’t enough to go around.
As a result, we'll fight each other to maintain (or gain) what we've been told is “scarce.” This stinginess at best--and violence at worst--keeps us in an energetically low vibrational state. A docile state of being, in which we're spiritually weak, and perpetually susceptible to fear, which consequently makes our spirits inhospitable to evolution.
The good news is that, despite how strong counter-evolutionary forces have become, we can seize our mental and spiritual autonomy. However, it will take some effort.
The key is in relearning how to think critically—in order to recognize psychological traps for what they are—and thereafter, to be disciplined enough to consciously resist them. We can do this by gathering our own evidence about the nature of reality, via personal experience, as well as through direct, interpersonal relationships...Rather than relying on secondhand, thirdhand, (or who knows how many times removed) information, as often as possible.
Some methods by which to gather our own evidence could be through reading books or scholarly articles on history, science, psychology, art, spirituality, health, relationships, politics, and other issues of universal importance to humanity.
Another method could be listening to a variety of educational podcasts, or watching documentaries, and discussing them with others. Even if some publications or programs are on the biased side, if we aim for a diversity of perspectives, we'll probably notice some patterns, and come to some interesting conclusions...Without having to repeat the tired talking points we’ve all heard in the news media (and on social media.)
Other ways to gather information about the nature of existence include: meditation; spending time in nature; dancing, walking, running, and other forms of physical exercise; as well as creating art/music; engaging in consensual acts of physical affection, volunteering for a cause, and many others.
What many of these evidence-gathering behaviors have in common is that they require us to be physically and mentally active, opposed to being passively reactive.
On an individual level, committing to reconstructing reality will take a level of focused dedication, which may at first feel challenging. This is because the ability to concentrate deeply enough to be discerning has been discouraged, via habitual distraction. However, if we're dedicated to unlearning habits that have harmed us, and relearning (or, even learning for the first time) what resonates on a truer level, we'll start to see clearly--and thus become more powerful people.
Finally, if we're brave enough to magnanimously share what we've learned (and continue to do so) our shared efforts can compound exponentially, catapulting humanity into an ecstatic new dimension of reality: One of limitless spiritual growth, and material abundance, for all.
